It’s not really a party until someone busts out the meatballs. These are literally the easiest thing ever and they taste so freaking delicious.
Easy Game-Day Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen meatballs (turkey is fine if you prefer that)
- 1 jar Heinz chili sauce
- 1 jar grape jelly
Instructions
Put all of the ingredients in a slow cooker (or in a saucepan on the stove), and cook on low for about three hours. Stir occasionally to make sure the meatballs are evenly sauced.
Recommended: Serve with those little toothpicks with the cool paper on the end so you look fancy.
Easy Game-Day Bacon-Wrapped Breadsticks
I think this is based on a Paula Deen recipe and, seriously, my male cousins and brothers cannot stop eating them so if you’re looking to impress the menfolk, bring these!
Ingredients
- 1 package of breadsticks (the long, hard ones not the soft doughy ones…that’s what she said)
- 12 slices of bacon
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne (totally optional if you are a wuss about heat)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Cut the bacon in half to make long, skinny strips. Wrap one piece of bacon around each breadstick. Place breadsticks on a cookie sheet, and cook in a 350 degree oven for about 5 minutes.
While breadsticks are cooking, mix Parmesan, garlic powder and cayenne together in a bowl. Once breadsticks are done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with the Parmesan mixture. Bake for another 10 minutes, or until the bacon is brown and crispy.
