Instructions – 10 Easy Steps to Baked Potato Goodness
Step 1 – Find a potato. Sweet, Russet, Yukon, whatever.
Step 2 – Make slices in your potato of choice that end just before slicing through completely.
Step 3 – Grab butter, parmesan cheese, and olive oil.
Pro tip: Freeze the butter first. It makes it easier to slice and handle.
Step 4 – Alternating butter and parmesan, place the thin slices in the cuts in the potato. Don’t worry about making it perfect. They’re going to melt. It’s going to be amazing.
Step 5 – Bake at 400 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
Step 6 – Remove from the oven.
Step 7 – Lightly drizzle heavy cream over the top of the potato.
Step 8 – Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top of the potato.
Step 9 – Bake for another 15 minutes.
Step 10 – Top with sour cream, chives, and serve alongside a Salt & Vinegar Kettle Chip-crusted Salmon and some freshly steamed broccoli.
Or just serve it with a salad. Or just eat it by itself. Or top it with bacon bits. Just eat the damn thing already, it’s a deliciously cheesy potato!
